The assistant finds out when she opens the drawer that morning, and the practice either sends the patient home or fills the visit with something else. What the work is
An agent that holds every open lab case against its scheduled insertion date, chases the lab when a case is due and not received, and warns the location while there is still time to move the appointment. It reconciles delivered cases against the invoice so a case is not billed twice or lost between sites. What it does not do
Whether to seat a case the dentist is not satisfied with, or send it back to the lab, is the treating dentist’s decision alone. That is not a limitation of the software. It is the line the reference design draws on purpose, and a vendor who offers to move it is selling you something else.
