Nobody practising on an expired licence or a lapsed credential

A renewal is seen while there is time to act, and a provider is not scheduled to bill work no payor will pay for

Every clinician holds a state licence, a controlled substances registration, indemnity cover and a separate credential with each payor, and all of them expire on different dates. A lapsed payor credential means the claims for that provider are rejected weeks after the work was done, and a lapsed licence is worse. If you own a dental group, that is a desk in your own business.

What the work is

An agent that holds every credential for every clinician with its expiry and renewal lead time, warns the person and the administrator far enough ahead to act, tracks each payor enrolment through its own process, and flags any provider whose schedule includes days they are not yet credentialed to bill for. In the Cabinet, ArkOne’s reference design for an executive agent, this is the Counsel seat: one of ten specialists the room can consult, each a name, a model and a set of instructions rather than a department.

The part of the design carrying the weight here is the directory, and the setting that governs it is stated once on the Register.

What it does not do

Taking a clinician off the schedule because a credential has lapsed is decided by the practice owner, who has to weigh a day of patients against the exposure. That is not a limitation of the software. It is the line the reference design draws on purpose, and a vendor who offers to move it is selling you something else.

What changes

A renewal is seen while there is time to act, and a provider is not scheduled to bill work no payor will pay for.

Take credentialing lag, payor enrolment, state licence renewal into the demonstration and use them without explaining them. A vendor whose agent handles this work already knows those words; one who asks what they mean is showing you a system built for a different trade.

Assembly · the Seats

The Seat that owns this work gathers what it needs and drafts. This is the part a demonstration shows you, and it is the part that cannot break anything.

What you have at five: A renewal is seen while there is time to act, and a provider is not scheduled to bill work no payor will pay for

The hours are a shape, not a schedule. What is fixed is the order: nothing reaches a system you run before the Door, and nothing continues past the wait without a person.
