Vessels are bareboat or time chartered between companies inside the same group across several jurisdictions, and management fees, charter hire and cost recharges pass between them monthly. The entries are booked from a template that was set when the structure was created, so a rate that was never revised, or a leg booked on one side and not the other, surfaces at audit or at a tax enquiry. What the work is
An agent posts each intercompany charter and recharge against the agreement that governs it, checks both legs of every entry are booked and agree, and lists the agreements whose rates have not been reviewed for the current period. It reconciles the intercompany balances before the ledgers close. What it does not do
Whether an intercompany rate is defensible for the current period and needs revising, because setting a rate between the group’s own companies is a tax position the group has to be able to defend. That is not a limitation of the software. It is the line the reference design draws on purpose, and a vendor who offers to move it is selling you something else.
What changes

Take bareboat charter, intercompany recharge, management fee into the demonstration and use them without explaining them. A vendor whose agent handles this work already knows those words; one who asks what they mean is showing you a system built for a different trade.
