Crew wages run through manning agents in several countries, in several currencies, with allotments to families and deductions the seafarer agreed at sign-on, and the payroll must be paid on time to satisfy the maritime labour requirements. The wage account arrives as a spreadsheet from the manager, and an allotment routed to a closed account or a rank paid at last contract’s scale is found by the seafarer, not by the office. If you finance or lease vessels, that is a desk in your own business.
What the work is
An agent checks each wage account line against the seafarer’s employment agreement, the rank scale and the recorded allotment instruction, verifies the currency and the payment channel, and lists the lines that do not agree with the contract before the payment run is released. The run waits for a person. In the Cabinet, ArkOne’s reference design for an executive agent, this is the People seat: one of ten specialists the room can consult, each a name, a model and a set of instructions rather than a department.
The part of the design carrying the weight here is the signature, and the setting that governs it is stated once on the Register.
What it does not do
Whether to release a payment run with an unresolved line or hold the whole run, because holding a crew wage is a decision with a person waiting on the other end of it. That is not a limitation of the software. It is the line the reference design draws on purpose, and a vendor who offers to move it is selling you something else.
What changes
A wage line paid at last contract’s scale is caught in the office rather than by the seafarer.
Take seafarer employment agreement, allotment, manning agent into the demonstration and use them without explaining them. A vendor whose agent handles this work already knows those words; one who asks what they mean is showing you a system built for a different trade.

Drag the day. This work is owned by the People seat, and one hour of it is not the machine's to decide.
Assembly · the Seats
The Seat that owns this work gathers what it needs and drafts. This is the part a demonstration shows you, and it is the part that cannot break anything.
What you have at five: A wage line paid at last contract's scale is caught in the office rather than by the seafarer
The hours are a shape, not a schedule. What is fixed is the order: nothing reaches a system you run before the Door, and nothing continues past the wait without a person.
