Each location orders its own consumables when an assistant notices a shelf is empty, so one site is out of anaesthetic on a surgery day while another has cartridges going out of date in a cupboard. Nobody sees group consumption, so the group buys at single-site prices. If you own a dental group, that is a desk in your own business.
What the work is
An agent that tracks consumption per location against the procedures actually scheduled, drafts reorders before a site runs short, groups them where the same item is needed across locations, and flags stock approaching its expiry date at one site that another could use. The order waits for the regional manager to release it. In the Cabinet, ArkOne’s reference design for an executive agent, this is the Operations seat: one of ten specialists the room can consult, each a name, a model and a set of instructions rather than a department.

What it does not do
Releasing spend and changing a supplier is the regional manager’s decision, and the agent never places an order on its own authority. That is not a limitation of the software. It is the line the reference design draws on purpose, and a vendor who offers to move it is selling you something else.
What changes

Take consumable, par level, anaesthetic carpule into the demonstration and use them without explaining them. A vendor whose agent handles this work already knows those words; one who asks what they mean is showing you a system built for a different trade.
