A fixture is agreed on a broker recap and the signed charter party arrives days later, so the chartering desk starts the hire clock from a summary rather than from the document that governs it. The delivery terms, the off-hire wording and the redelivery notice period sit in the clauses nobody has read yet, and the first hire statement goes out built on the recap. What the work is
An agent reads the executed charter party and the addenda, lifts the delivery and redelivery terms, the daily hire rate, the hire payment interval, the off-hire and speed-and-consumption wording and the bunker clauses, and writes them into the fixture record as fields with the clause reference beside each one. Anything it cannot find it leaves empty and names. What it does not do
Whether the extracted terms match what the chartering manager believes was actually agreed, because a rider clause that contradicts the printed form is a commercial argument and not a reading error. That is not a limitation of the software. It is the line the reference design draws on purpose, and a vendor who offers to move it is selling you something else.
